Squidgy Mongrels & Ridgebacks - Brett Wilson & Mark Bargenquast

Fish, more often than not, live in dense structure. It makes sense, as that is where the food and protection is. Getting a lure into these places - and then out again - is one of the most challenging things that an angler try to do. Land your lure too far away and you don't catch fish - too close and you risk loosing your rig.

Thank goodness for weedless soft plastics, and these new hollow ones expose more hook when the fish strikes.

Squidgy have put a lot of time and effort into researching and developing two new plastics for the Australian market. They swim better straight out of the packet (blister packed) and can achieve bluewater trolling speeds.

They are the 'Mongrel' - paddle tailed, and the 'Ridgeback' - curl tailed. The flip side of these plastics is that they are hollow, and lend themselves to the most magnificent weedless presentations and hook up rates that you would ever want.

KVD Grip-Pin

The new KVD Grip-Pin hooks from Mustad mean no more super glue and quicker better rigging.
